Mr. Marcus De' Bryant Canidate

Marcus De’Bryant Canidate was born February 7, 1985 to Mary B. Canidate and the late Matthew Carter, Sr. He transitioned on June 3, 2023.

As a child, Marcus attended Second Kiokee Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Mitchell and Dougherty County School Systems. He earned his certification from Albany Tech in Automotive Collision Repair. Marcus was a Walmart Associate for many years. He was a loyal LeBron James fan and enjoyed watching and playing sports.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother: Mary B. Canidate of Blakely, Georgia; four children, Marcus Whitaker, Serenity Hall, Faith and Amyria Williams, all of Albany, Georgia, Sisters, Debbie Hall of Bainbridge, Georgia, Diane Canidate (Michael Whatley), Tammy Waters (Clifford), Ossie Canidate and Tracy Canidate, all of Albany, Georgia, Tenesha Caison of Macon, Georgia, Chekeylar Dozier (George) and Tomicka Canidate of Arlington, Georgia, Sherita Carter, Venecia Carter, Cherlena Johnson, Nakia Anderson, of Newton, Georgia, Felicia Carter of North Carolina, Lakeshia Mitchell and Camille Mitchell of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Africa Hill of Camilla, Georgia, one brother Matthew Carter, Jr. of Newton, Georgia, a special and devoted friend, Nicole Whitaker of Albany, Georgia. He had thirty- one nieces and twenty-four nephews, along with a host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Marcus shared a special bond with many people.
